Headshots Calendar of Events
- June 26, 2008 - An Evening with Andy Ryan
Headshots and Hasselblad are proud to present noted documentary and architectural photographer Andy Ryan.
- Andy has been shooting professionally since 1985 with a strong focus on documentary photography. Some of the major projects Andy has documented include the Central Artery Project, better known as the Big Dig in Boston, the 1989 Crackdown in Tiananmen Square in Beijing and the construction of the Three Gorges dam spanning the Yangtze River in China. Andy was also on hand to record the Civilian Crisis in Iraq from 1991 to 1996. He has found a very practical working balance between his shooting career and his love of travel, and both feed the other.
- Andy will be presenting images of China from 1989 to 2008, with particular attention to some of the newest buildings under construction in Beijing, the CCTV building, the National Stadium, and the Grand National Theater.
- Please join us for a relaxing evening of inspirational images and interesting dialogue. This gathering is free to attend, but as seating is limited, reservations are required.
