- March 26, 2008 - Canadian Launch of Phocus by Hasselblad
Headshots Toronto is proud to host the Canadian launch of the long-awaited new native processing software from Hasselblad named Phocus.
- Since first being announced in September 2007, Phocus has progressed steadily through a series of private and public Beta tests, and is now very close to taking it place as the replacement for Flexcolor. The Phocus launch will be hosted at Headshots Toronto and will be presented in 2 identical sessions, one at 3:00pm and one at 6:00pm. We will present an overview of the last few years of product development at Hasselblad, and discussion of the hybrid back/body combination of the past versus the integrated solution that is embodied in the Hasselblad H3D-II, and some reasons for the development of Phocus. We will then explore the main functions of Phocus and demonstrate a simple workflow. In just about an hour, we will brings our guests from questions to answers regarding what Phocus is, how it will operate, and how it will further help to define Hasselblad as the brand leader in medium format digital solutions.
